This is not a resort! It’s a hotel with limited amenities and a Casino. Overall, I believe this could be a top-notch hotel if management would pay attention, inspect the rooms, and not be so cheap on items and service that should be standard in a room. Only two paper coffee cups and no other glasses or cups in the room. No laundry bags, no note pads, or pens to take notes on.

I guess housekeeping I saw in the hall was for empty rooms. I called around 10:00 am to have the room serviced, was told that housekeeping for occupied rooms does not come in until 3:00 pm. The morning I called again, and they sent some up. She said she would send some up, but they never came. There were only 2 sets of towels in the bath and when I called down to have some towels sent up, I was told that housekeep does not do room service. After a few moments I found a standard type turn knob had been installed bypassing the switch on the bottom. One lamp, the switch on the bottom did not work, so they rewired it. Both lamps’ shades are just setting on top with no nut to anchor them, so they hang at different angles. The lamps are old and need to be replaced. The problems I see which management should review are The shower was in good shape as if it had been redone recently.

The bed was hard, but the linens were nice. Stayed in one of their standard rooms which is a fair size and your standard appointments, the room could be a 4-star type hotel room if it had been taken care of. Not a good combination and not a good first impression. I think not ever again! The only reason I gave it a two is because the next morning I got up and walked out and looked at the beauty of the waterfront view, Best part of my stay!įirst thing I noticed as we walked into the lobby to check-in was the smell. Did they have any sweets available? She said yes if I would like to extend my stay. Got up the next morning and asked the lady. I only ordered wings and meat pies I asked for upgrade to a suite and was denied on a Thursday stating they were full. The attendant laughed in my face and decided to repeat my order with laughter. My husband said we're old restaurant experience was equivalently the same negative I put in my order and apparently it was extremely funny. Then returned with two unfitting blankets for a king size bed machines in the casino. Two ladies showed up at my door like bodyguards to check to see if I was lying. Bed not completely made meaning it only had the sheets I requested for blankets or comforters. Front desk receptionist was exceptionally rude, room was clean.
